The shop sizes indicated are for a typical automotive (Lead Acid)
and/or aircraft (NICAD) with a maximum workload of 8 nickel
cadmium and 40 lead acid batteries per work shift. For work loads
different than this, the shop size should be modified. The major
change for different work loads would be in the charging bench
requirements.

Battery Shop Facilities and Battery Rooms shall comply with OSHA
1926.403 and 1910.178.
