b) Provide an emergency eyewash/safety shower
conforming to ANSI Z358.1, and floor drains in hangar bays,
paint mixing rooms, and paint equipment rooms. Refer to par.
3.8.a) for discharge requirements.
d) Storm-water drains should be located a minimum of
305 mm ( 12 inch) from the hangar access door rails.
e) Provide AFFF/sprinkler discharge collection/
retention system when required by environmental regulations.
f) Provide a connection to the station Industrial Waste
Treatment System or to a collection tank from all drains. The

may be obtained from the oil-free shop air source through final
purifiers in each bay or from a separate breathing air
compressor and piping system. Breathing air from the oil-free
shop air source is preferred because of lower cost.
c) The air outlets (quick connect fittings) for oil-
free shop air, lubricated tool air, and breathing air should be
