Test stations are used to conduct many different tests in cathodic protection
systems. For galvanic anode systems, the most common test station measures the
potential of the structure nearest the anode, the potential of the structure farthest from
the anode, the potential of the anode, and the amount of current being supplied by an
anode or group of anodes. The connections in this type of test station are shown in
Figure 2-23.
