4-6.1 Caf (Snack Bar)

identity within the Center. Emphasize the character of a caf with
tables, as opposed to a cafeteria or a snack bar with counter service.
Consider a special themed character.
Consider skylights for ambient light and to reinforce the special caf
character of the space. Provide windows at exterior walls.
Locate the caf so as to be immediately visible to patrons upon entering the Center.
Locate to be visible from and convenient to the bowlers' and spectators' seating.
Emphasize the connection between the caf and the public circulation. The bowling
area should be visible to diners.
Provide access to an outdoor dining patio, if this feature is provided.
Provide a serving counter or window; not a counter with stools.
